A Note to Parents on Off-Campus Accommodation

Mount Carmel does not endorse any private PG or hostel. Here is what that means, and how to choose well.

Every admissions cycle we hear the same worry from parents outside Bengaluru: where will my daughter live?

Let me be plain. Mount Carmel does not recognise, endorse, or recommend any private PG accommodation or hostel outside the campus. We have no association or partnership with such lodgings, and we cannot be responsible for disputes arising from them.

That does not mean you are alone. Our Student Affairs office maintains a general-guidance note on how to evaluate a PG — safety, distance, references, contracts — and will happily meet you during Open Days.

Please also be cautious of agents claiming to secure admissions to our programs for a fee. Admission is only through the College Admissions Office. If you are unsure, write to us — we will confirm.
